During training kendoka fence with a shinai (sword) and wear a Keikogi and Hakama. On top of this they wear protective armour, called Bogu.
If you are just starting out you just need a T-Shirt and some comfortable trousers. We will provide the rest. Once you have decided that you would like to join us, you can sign up for our beginners course. The club also has a certain amount of armour that students may use at the end of the 8 week introductory course.
